Wayland Town Crier 5/17/11: Help clean up Dudley Pond on Saturday. Help clean up Dudley Pond’s perimeter, by boat or on foot, on Saturday, May 21 from 10am to 1pm or anytime in between. Meet at Mansion Beach between 9:45 and 10am, rain or shine. Community service credits available for high school volunteers. Bring gloves, hats and sunscreen. We will provide water, snacks and garbage bags.
If you have a small boat or kayak or canoe, please bring it to Mansion Beach and we will put you to work – there’s plenty of garbage in the pond. We will clean up areas around Mansion Beach, the Chat, Rocky Point, the Outlet or anywhere else you can find garbage. We will serve refreshments at Mansion Beach around 1pm.
If you cannot make the event, take an hour or so at your convenience and help us pick up some garbage!
