Plea deal rejected in Wayland theft case

Wayland Town Crier 6/10/11: Plea deal rejected in Wayland theft case. A judge yesterday rejected a plea bargain for a Norwood man, saying his plan to pay back $23,000 in installments fell short. Framingham District Court Judge Robert Greco told Christopher Dolan, 25, that he would need to pay a "sufficient" amount of money up front before he would accept the plea. Dolan is charged with larceny by a single scheme. Wayland Police said while Dolan was a manager at the Sunoco on Boston Post Road he stole more than $23,000 between February and August by not depositing the store's receipts at the bank, police said.
