Congresswoman Niki Tsongas : Workshop on the Federal Deficit and Debt. The challenge of reducing the federal deficit and debt requires making tough choices about spending priorities. This public workshop offers an engaging way for you to participate in the process and add your voice. The Concord Coalition is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization dedicated to educating the public about the causes and consequences of the federal budget deficit. Through this public workshop you will actively participate in the process of re-shaping the budget, cutting the deficit, and reducing the national debt. You will confront the tough choices that policy makers face and share your ideas on how to achieve a sustainable budget with Congresswoman Tsongas and others. This workshop is open to members of the public of all ages, organizations, and municipal officials.
