Wayland Town Crier 7/22/11: Wayland native to hold Q & A after documentary screening. The 13th annual Roxbury International Film Festival will kick off with a pre-festival screening of "My So-Called Enemy," on Monday, July 25 at the Coolidge Corner Theatre at 7:30 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session with director Lisa Gossels, a Wayland native. In July 2002, 22 Palestinian and Israeli teenage girls traveled to the U.S. to participate in a women's leadership program called "Building Bridges for Peace." "My So-Called Enemy" is the story of six of the girls and how the transformative experience of knowing their "enemies" as human beings meets with the realities of their lives at home in the Middle East over the next seven years.
