Motor Vehicle Break-In Arrests

 

On Sunday, September 4th and Monday, September 5th, Wayland Police responded to three separate Motor Vehicle Break and Enterings.  One occurred on White Road and the other two occurred on Loring Lane and Concord Road.  During the same time frame, both the Weston and Lincoln Police Departments also received numerous complaints about vehicles in their towns being broken into and items being stolen.  The Motor Vehicle’s that were targeted were left unlocked and the thefts occurred during the evening to early morning hours.  Electronics, sunglasses, money, IPods and other valuables were targeted.

The Wayland Police Department Detective Division has investigated these crimes.  During the investigation four (4) individuals were identified and a large assortment of electronics and other evidence was recovered. 

Four individuals will be charged, they are:

  • Elias B. Breit, Homeless, formerly of Wayland
  • Jessica Hanam, 17 Fairbrook Road, Framingham
  • Nicholas J. Murphy, 208 Marlboro Road, Sudbury
  • Jonathan B. Megidesh, 257 Hudson Road, Sudbury

The Wayland Police Department reminds residents to lock their unattended vehicles when not in use.  Additionally, we urge you not to leave electronics, cell phones, radar detectors, money and other valuables in your vehicle, and to lock your vehicle at all times.
