Worcester Business Journal 12/13/11: 38 Central Mass. Companies Net $2.9M For Training. Companies in 21 Central Massachusetts communities will receive $2.9 million from a state fund that provides employee training money, according to Gov. Deval Patrick's office. The 38 companies who will receive money from the state's Workforce Training Fund are located in communities from Spencer to Gardner to Whitinsville to Wayland and span a variety of economic sectors.
