Wayland Town Crier 3/4/12: Wayland resident photographs battle with cancer. Willard Traub's powerful photographs of his battle with cancer can be seen at the Photographic Resource Center (PRC) at Boston University as part of concurrent exhibits about illness and recovery. The Wayland photographer is showing 12 black-and-white photographs that chronicle his hospitalization, treatment and recovery from a rare form of blood cancer in spare images along with nine poems that express his refusal to abandon hope in the face of mortality. His show, "Recovery,'' can be seen through March 24.
