Wayland Town Crier 3/9/12: Wayland 4, Lowell 1: Warriors Reach Final. After a scoreless first period, senior forward Shane Brady scored twice in the second to lead seventh-seeded Wayland past No. 6 Lowell 4-1 in a Division 3 North boys hockey semifinal at Chelmsford Forum Thursday night. Wayland (13-7-3) will face off against MVC/DCL foe and top-seeded Bedford (18-4) for the Division 3 North championship on Sunday (4:30 p.m.) at Stoneham Arena. Bedford defeated the Warriors both times during the regular season, 3-2 and 3-0 respectively.
Wayland is 5-0-1, including the tournament, since its loss to Bedford on Feb. 11.
