Wayland Town Crier 4/16/12: Learn about energy saving options at Earth Day in Wayland. In these days of rising gas prices and uncertainty about future oil supplies, you may be interested in learning more about energy saving cars and homes. If so, come talk to some early adopters of efficient technologies at Wayland’s “Earth Day is Our Day” celebration. On Sunday, April 29 from 12-3pm at the Town Building, a number of Wayland citizens will be on hand to share their firsthand impressions of driving the Prius and/or Volt. There will also be individuals who live in homes powered by solar energy, one a designer of such homes.
