Wayland Town Crier 6/5/12: Wayland noise complaint leads to cop assault. A Wayland man armed with an ax handle told police he would take care of a noise problem on his own on Saturday. But, police say Paul Szabo assaulted a police officer who was there to try to help him, shoving him against the cruiser while holding the wooden ax handle in a position to hit the officer, according to a police report filed in Framingham District Court yesterday by Officer Sean Fitzgerald.
