Jimmy Fund Summer Farm League – 2nd grade players. This is an opportunity for our 2nd grade players to play in games against local towns, (Weston, LS, Concord, Maynard). The games will be supplemented by Frozen Rope clinics to ensure continued baseball development. Games and clnics at 6pm.
Proposed Guidelines/RULES –
1. kids pitch and throw 4 balls and then the coaches step in- 6 balls constitute a walk – 3 strikes is an out.
2. Kids Catch- no base stealing
3. 3 outs per inning or after all batters hit once.
4. 6 innings or 1 ½ hour time limit.
5. coaches umpire
Proposed Schedule – starting at 6pm
Farm league (8s) will play on Mon and Thurs.
Frozen Rope Clinics will be on Tuesday
We understand that summer will have vacations/camps and other activities and players can not attend all events. We will need enough players to accommodate these options.

The Jimmy Fund Little League Program, which culminates with the Jimmy Fund Little League Tournament, has been working to strike out cancer for 25 years. Each year, Little League baseball and softball players throughout New England take to their communities to raise funds for the Jimmy Fund through neighborhood canister collections, home run derbies, car washes, bake sales, and business sponsorships.
