Wayland Patch 7/25/12: 'Happy It's Over' Wayland Selectman Says Following Probation Ruling. Wayland Selectman Joseph Nolan was placed on 60-day probation Wednesday in a case involving a restraining order violation that occurred in March. The decision was made in regards to the first of two allegations that Nolan violated a restraining order barring him from coming within 100 yards of his 6-year-old son. The first violation occurred on March 4, and according to Nolan's attorney, Dan Campion, resulted in "no harm done."
