The Finance Committee will conduct an article hearing as part of a special meeting of the committee on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in Town Building. The Warrant Hearing is an opportunity for the public to preview the proposed articles and resolutions that may be considered at the Special Town Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at Wayland High School. Petitioners and representatives of town boards and committees which have submitted articles for consideration for inclusion in the Warrant should attend the meeting. The hearing will begin at 7:15 p.m.
The Finance Committee will assign the articles and resolutions to members to research and prepare comments for the Warrant.
Copies all articles and resolutions submitted for consideration for inclusion in the Warrant will be provided at the article hearing and will be posted in advance on the Town website on the October 2012 Special Town Meeting page under Timely Information (bottom center of the home page).
The Board of Selectmen will vote at the meeting on Monday, September 10 to determine which articles and resolutions will be included and determine the order in which the articles and resolutions will appear in the Warrant for consideration by town meeting.
