Falls are a major threat to the health and independence of older adults. This program is open to older adults and their families. Falls are not an inevitable result of aging. Most falls are preventable. The “Stand Tall, Don’t Fall” forum will include fall prevention strategies and demonstrations. Learn about “medication and falls”, the proven benefits of Tai Chi, the importance of balance, including balance aids and equipment, etc.
