Wayland Patch 10/19/12: Team Eric a Success Because of Wayland’s Generosity. On Thursday, Oct. 11, many Wayland residents participated in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk in memory of Eric Chase.

Eric, a Wayland High 2008 Alum, passed away on June 28after a six-month battle with AML Leukemia. His legacy inspired his friends and family to raise money to help find a cure and lend a hand to people who are currently fighting.
