Wayland Town Crier 4/8/13: Wayland voters reject DPW replacement at Town Meeting.  Voters at the second session of Wayland’s Annual Town Meeting on Sunday afternoon narrowly defeated an article that would have allowed the Department of Public Works to replace its 13,000-square-foot, 80-year-old facility adjacent to the Middle School with a new 38,000-square foot garage and headquarters on River Road.  The final vote count was 158-95, just a few short of the two-thirds majority required to pass.
