Runners in Boston’s Run to Remember fundraising for the Neighbor Brigade

Next weekend is “Boston’s Run to Remember”! This incredible event is a half marathon to honor fallen Boston firefighters and policemen. Wayne Fischer (Neighbor Brigade Board Member and longtime friend of Pam) will be running this race with his son-in-law Channing Ferrer (a member of our own Wayland Chapter). Wayne and Channing are running to raise money for Neighbor Brigade, and to honor their hero and ours, Pam.

Our Wayland community has such a special relationship with Neighbor Brigade. Many of you have been members from the beginning, when we were the “Wayland Angels”. What started as a small community of volunteers who took it upon themselves to care for their neighbors, known and unknown, has grown to an organization that supports 40 chapters! Pam’s goal was to have chapters established all over Massachusetts, then New England, and one day, across the country. From the incredible rate at which we have grown, it has become very clear that Pam’s dream can be realized.

Please consider supporting Wayne and Channing’s incredible fundraising effort for Neighbor Brigade. If you would like to read more about the run and make a donation, please use this link.
