If you are retired or semi-retired and love music, join the fun! There are NO AUDITIONS to join, and no attendance requirements to belong. If you enjoy singing, dancing or playing an instrument, the chorus welcomes you – all kinds of performers enhance the chorus’ weekly shows. Come bring joyful entertainment into the community and enjoy the company of like-minded music-lovers from towns all over MetroWest.
Open rehearsals begin Tuesday, September 3 at the Wayland Senior Center (Town Building, corner of Routes 27 and 20) from 10:00 a.m. to noon. On Tuesday, September 10 come at 9:30 a.m.for a Welcome Coffee Reception featuring home-made goodies, hosted by the chorus and the Wayland Council on Aging.
As its mission states, “The Golden Tones chorus practices and provides enriching entertainment for senior citizen facilities, schools, faith communities and public events. Members are men and women of retirement age who sing and dance to lift spirits, have fun, and promote health and social engagement to benefit our audiences and ourselves.”
