Wayland Town Crier 9/20/13: Wayland officials hoping to move forward on new DPW. As the Board of Selectmen officially set a date and opened the warrant for a special Town Meeting on Nov. 20, discussion of the proposed new Department of Public Works facility moved front and center. Last week, the selectmen met with Permanent Municipal Building Committee members Tom Abdella and Jon Mishara and Public Buildings Director John Moynihan on the status of the DPW project and readiness for Town Meeting.

Wayland Town Crier 9/20/13: Wayland resident planning appeal of new DPW location. Resident Tom Sciacca said he is all but certain to appeal any order of conditions issued by the Conservation Commission that would allow construction of an access road from Route 20 through wetlands to the proposed new Department of Public Works facility on River Road.
