May 17th Prom Late Night Support. May 17th is Wayland’s Junior Prom and for 17 years straight Wayland has held “Late Night” to keep kids off the roads and in a SAFE, alcohol-free environment (with many parent chaperones), where they can enjoy food, entertainment and activities immediately AFTER the prom. Although the event is FREE for all kids to make their attendance as easy as possible, we estimate the cost to be $85 per student, and thus rely 100% on community contributions.
