The Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable hosts “How Trauma Impacts Cycles of Violence”, March 11

domestic-violence-logoThe Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable will host a program on “How Trauma Impacts Cycles of Violence” Tuesday, March 11 at 3pm.

The featured speaker will be Jessica Hollander, director of Prevention Programs at REACH Beyond Domestic Violence. This will be an interactive program that deals with the emotional impact of trauma and the impact of trauma on the nervous system.
Hollander will discuss how trauma happens in cycles and how people who perpetuate violence are often dealing with unhealed trauma.

The meeting will be held in the community meeting room at the Wayland Public Safety Building. Admission is free. More information is available at www.domesticviolenceroundtable.org.
