WaylandCaresMonday, March 31st, 7:00 pm, WHS Lecture Hallsadd

Tell Me What I Don’t Know video followed by a facilitated conversation. This short video, produced by a MIT fraternity following the alcohol poisoning death of a student, will be used to kick off a discussion of a range of teen behaviors.  WHS Juniors and Seniors will see this video that morning as part of a presentation by Dr. Richard Schwartzstein, the ER doctor who treated the student. Parents and other adults are invited to watch the video and participate in a discussion facilitated by expert panelists including Dr. Lynn Dowd, Director of Wayland Youth and Family Services, Dr. Rebecca Tipton, a Wayland parent and ER doctor, Shane Bowles, Youth Officer with the Wayland Police Department, and a parent of a WHS alum and current student.  Parents of students in grades 6-12 are encouraged to attend this program to learn from other parents and the experts and be better prepared to have the conversations at home that will help keep our children safe. This event is co-sponsored by WaylandCares, Wayland High School, and WHS SADD.
