SVT Volunteer Afternoon: Garlic Mustard Pull, Wednesday, April 30

VOLUNTEER AFTERNOON: GARLIC MUSTARD PULL at Wolbach Farm, Sudbury
Wednesday April 30, 2014, 3-6pm

Please come help eradicate garlic mustard from the woods at Wolbach Farm. This invasive plantis particularly noxious because it disrupts soil microbial processes, in addition to displacing native plants. We have been making great progress. You are welcome to attend all or part of this afternoon. Please register in advance with Laura Mattei at lmattei@svtweb.org.

Wolbach Farm (18 Wolbach Road, Sudbury) is great to visit any day of the year. We welcome you to enjoy the trails for walking, skiing, snowshoeing, nature study, photography, or other fun activities. The main loop is ¾ mile, with a short inner loop. Then visit the Nature Nook on the porch attached to the main building. There you can further explore local plants and wildlife with crafts, games, seasonal displays, and books.

Sudbury Valley Trustees is a regional land trust that conserves land and protects wildlife habitat in the Concord, Assabet, and Sudbury river basin for the benefit of present and future generations.
