Volunteers needed at Traditions of Wayland

Wayland Town Crier 8/13/14: Volunteers needed at Traditions of Wayland. Want to make a real difference in someone’s life? Feel a need to give back to our community? Traditions of Wayland is looking for volunteers:

  • Walkers needed – Our walking club needs walkers to support residents wanting to walk and stroll around our beautiful property and the surrounding area.
  • Italian speakers – We have a resident in our memory care neighborhood who can speak English but relocated here from Italy so she often reverts back to Italian!
  • Event planners and helpers – Each month we have at least one community event that involves both an activity and a meal; we need help planning and executing.
  • History buffs – We would like to start a history club and we need leaders; the group would meet a few times a month.
  • Computer specialists – Multiple residents need computer assistance. We have computers available for the residents to use and some have their own.

Call Executive Director Betsy Connolly at 508-358-0700 if you are interested.
