Rail trail plan gets Sudbury residents’ support

Metrowest Daily News 9/6/14: Rail trail plan gets Sudbury residents’ support. Having already OK’d a plan to extend a north-south rail trail through Sudbury, Town Meeting voters this week also gave their support to a separate proposal to bring an east-west trail through town as well. Residents at a Special Town Meeting Thursday night overwhelming approved two articles seeking to not only start to develop the 4.6-mile section of the Mass Central Rail Trail that passes through Sudbury, but also begin phase one of the project: the construction of a 1.8-mile stretch from Dutton Road to Union Avenue.
