The Wayland Public Library has a MakerBot 3D printer and we are eager to introduce it to local teens and adults. We will be running some free workshops later this month on Saturday, December 13, from 2:30-5 p.m. and Monday evening, December 15, from 7-9 p.m. In the workshops, 3D artist Eric Carlsen will guide people through the process of creating their own 3D model using Tinkercad, an easy and fun 3D design tool. We will be printing out the creations on our 3D printer! We will also be offering a more advanced Blender workshop in January. Workshop attendance needs to be limited, so registration is required, and participants must be 12 years of age or older. Please register through our online calendar at waylandlibrary.org.
