The Tenth annual Arnold Kerzner Award Dinner to benefit The Human Relations Service (HRS) is May 13, 2015. The honorees this year are Stephen Winthrop of Wayland and Rebecca Taylor of Wellesley, the longest-serving Presidents in HRS’s 66 year history. They are being honored not just for their longevity, but for what they’ve accomplished and for who they are.

Both Stephen and Rebecca have led HRS in challenging times. Both have kept the agency firmly focused on its mission, helped to strengthen its viability, and helped to grow its capacity to serve children and families. Both embody the caring, commitment, and competence that define HRS.

The event will take place at the Hunnewell House at Elm Bank of the Massachusetts Horticultural Society in Wellesley. It will feature celebrity chefs, fine wines and a silent and live auction. Cocktail reception and silent auction begin at 6:00 p.m. Dinner, awards presentation and live auction begin at 7:00 p.m. Susan Wornick, the legendary news anchor, will be the Master of Ceremonies.

HRS is the non-profit community mental health agency serving children and families in Wayland, Weston, and Wellesley. It helps people overcome problems and lead fuller, richer lives. And it helps strengthen the well-being of our community. HRS does important work in our schools, and is the safety net when crisis and tragedy strike.
