Inaugural Wayland-Weston Pooch Parade & Festival May 16 12-4pm.
At the Pooch Parade & Festival, pooches and their people will have fun while learning together. Visit the Rotary Club Pooch Parade & Festival website for lots of information, and to reserve your space. When you register, 100% of your “ticket” cost goes to our charity partner of your choice, and you get a free t-shirt.
The Pooch Parade & Festival ticket sales benefit Buddy Dog Humane Society, Operation Delta Dog, Animal Rescue League of Boston.
The Pooch Parade is a celebratory walk all around the Weston Town Green and past the Reviewing Stand where “celebrity” judges will review and applaud the pooches, and then present amusing awards.
Before and after the Parade, you can explore the samples, gifts, and service offerings in our Festival area and participate in fun contests. Winners will be selected for ”Pooch-Person Look-Alike,” ”Best Singer,” ”Best Kisser,” ”Best Trick,” and more.
On the Main Stage of the Festival, four experts will give short presentations on Canine First Aid, Training, “Ask Dog Lady,” Fostering, and Pet Physical Therapy.
Throughout the day, you can bid on professionally designed and constructed doghouses in the “Designer Doghouse Auction.” See some of the designs on WestonPoochParade.org.
