Wayland Patch 8/3/15: Guardian Angels Cat Rescue of Wayland Participates in #CleartheShelters Day. The homeless pet population is one that seems to grow. Countless cats and dogs sit in the already over-burdered shelters in our areas.

In an effort to urge folks to consider adopting an animal from a shelter (as a opposed to a breeder or pet store), NECN and other NBC-owned stations are hosting its first ever “Clear the Shelters” day on Aug. 15.

Dozens of shelters in the area are participating, including Wayland’s Guardian Angels Cat Rescue, with an adoption information day on Aug. 15 at Especially for Pets in Wayland from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
