The Ergathon features a crew-worthy Pancake Breakfast, Speed Ride, Learn to Row, and Launch Rides at Lake Cochituate.
Thank you for your support of the Wayland-Weston Crew. Please join us at the Ergathon on September 19 from 8am-12 noon at the Wayland Town Beach.
The Ergathon & Pancake Breakfast is a “4-Goal Event.”
#1 & #2 are for the members of the Team: The Ergathon Competition is a demanding physical workout and an important team-building experience that demands strategy and teamwork.
#3 is Fundraising: Each and every member of the team has been challenged to raise $300 from family, friends, and it’s also a competition among the classes.
#4 is “Fun-Raising: Watching the Ergathon is exciting and intriguing… plus
- Breakfast is FREE with a donation of any size, and there will have a lot of delicious food, just like at a regatta.
- “Learn to Row” will be free, and requires advanced signup to reserve a spot. Reserve a Learn to Row seat at 10am or 11am.
- “Speed Rides” in which two people join six varsity rowers and a coxswain for a high-speed sprint on Lake Cochituate. Speed Ride seats are limited and may be subject to an auction if there is greater demand than space. So we suggest you Reserve a Speed Ride seat for $50.
- “Launch Rides,” new this year, will be free (and are particularly appropriate for grandma, grandpa, and little kids) and a great way to get out on the water. Reserve a Launch Ride.
