Wayland Town Crier 11/20/15: Wayland School Committee policy under review. The School Committee received the policy on “Nonresident Students (policy JFABA)” at its meeting on October 19. Citizens who wish to review this policy are encouraged to view it online here (click on “School Committee”, “Policy Information” and “Policies for Review”) or visit the superintendent’s office in the Wayland Town Building during normal business hours where all School Committee policies are available to the public.

Residents and other interested parties are encouraged to offer oral and/or written comments and reactions to the School Committee regarding the proposed policy changes. All School Committee meetings begin at 7pm in the School Committee Room on the second floor of Town Building and are open to the public. The School Committee reviews all of its policies periodically, writing new ones or revising existing ones as circumstances warrant. Committee members believe this revised policy is in the best long-term interest of the Wayland Public Schools.
