The Village Bank’s Warm Winter Wishes will help homeless families and children

warm winter wishesVillage Bank: The Village Bank’s Warm Winter Wishes will help homeless families and children. The Village Bank office in Wayland is hosting a Warm Winter Wishes drive to benefit local homeless families served by Family Promise Metrowest. The Bank will collect donations of new winter hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, and warm socks for adults and children from November 23 through December 31.

Based in Natick, Family Promise Metrowest is a cooperative, interfaith partnership offering hope to local homeless families with children through safe transitional shelter, meals, and supportive case management as they seek permanent housing. Several Wayland faith-based congregations are among those that host and support the program.

“These families are doing all they can to become independent,” said Joseph De Vito, president and CEO of The Village Bank. “We hope the community will join us in extending Warm Winter Wishes to help them on that journey.”
