Boston.com 1/12/16: Two seriously injured in head-on Route 128 crash involving a wrong-way driver. A two-car, head-on crash involving a vehicle that was traveling the wrong way on Route 128 northbound in Lexington has left two people seriously injured. The accident happened shortly at about 4:15 a.m., and involved a 2008 Hyundai Accent and a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, according to state police spokesman David Procopio. The driver of the Accent, a 20 year-old Wayland woman, and the driver of the Cobalt, a 27-year-old Dracut man, were both taken to Lahey Clinic in Burlington with serious injuries, Procopio said.

The driver and sole occupant of the Hyundai, a 20-year-old Wayland woman, and the driver and sole occupant of the Cobalt, a 27-year-old Dracut man, suffered serious injuries.
