Wayland Patch 2/11/16: New Director of Veterans Services for Wayland Announced. Staff Sgt. Sarada Kalpee is the new director of the West Suburban Veterans District, which includes Wayland. In the new role, Kalpee will be responsible for the veterans services throughout Wayland, Needham, Wellesley and Weston. Her work includes outreach to veterans, assistance with filing of claims for benefits, certification of applicants’ eligibility, management of the business affairs of the District, supervision of staff and other significant duties, according to a press release.
