Sudbury Valley New Horizons Band & Orchestra in concert Saturday, May 7 at 3pm, at Wayland Middle School Theater
Join us for a concert featuring our band, string orchestra, woodwind choir and swing band. We will be playing many classic pieces of music including: portions of Dvorak’s Slavonic Dances; Ravel’s famous Pavane; a fiddle tune, Blue Ridge Reel; from the 70’s, Van Morrison’s Moondance; some classics by Gershwin & Berlin; Sousa’s Stars & Stripes Forever and other wonderful musical selections.
Our concert is free of charge, but your tax-deductible donations are gratefully accepted to help us purchase new music and defray the concert costs. Join us afterwards for a reception in the cafeteria.
Haven’t heard of Sudbury Valley New Horizons Music? We are a group of adults, 30-somethings to 80-somethings, many of whom have returned to their instruments after 50, 60 or 70(!!!) years of not playing, and others who started learning an instrument as an adult.
