Is it Really Changing? The Impacts of Climate Trends on River Flooding in New England, May 24

Wayland floodJoin us for this presentation at OARS’s 30th Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 24, 7 – 9 pm at the Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center (680 Hudson Road, Sudbury).

David Vallee, Hydrologist-in-Charge of the National Weather Service’s Northeast River Forecast, will examine observed climate trends, increasing rainfall intensity of our weather systems, and the impacts on river flooding in our region.

A short business meeting will precede the presentation. Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
