Wayland Town Crier 8/8/16: Wayland selectmen agree to pay $1K fine. After two members of the Board of Selectmen disagreed with Chairwoman Cherry Karlson about whether the committee “intentionally” violated the Open Meeting Law – as found by the Attorney General’s Office – the board recently voted unanimously to pay the $1,000 fine “and move on.” According to Assistant AG Kevin W. Manganaro of the Division of Open Government, Wayland selectmen took at least three months in some cases to approve minutes of their meetings.
