Ebola survivor to give talk in Wayland

Wayland Town Crier 8/31/16: Ebola survivor to give talk in Wayland. Wayland native Rick Sacra, the third American health care worker to have been repatriated from West Africa after contracting Ebola two years ago, is now fully recovered and living in central Massachusetts with frequent trips back to Liberia.

In order to raise funds for efforts to combat HIV/AIDS, a threat that Dr. Sacra believes has been eclipsed by the Ebola outbreak, he is planning a bicycle tour and lecture series later this month in Springfield, Worcester, Lowell and Wayland.

The talk in Wayland will take place Friday, Sept. 9 at 7:15 p.m. at Trinitarian Congregational Church, 53 Cochituate Road.
