Superintendent recommends delaying Wayland school start times

Wayland Town Crier 11/2/17: Superintendent recommends delaying Wayland school start times. Students would get to sleep later next school year under a proposal from Superintendent Arthur Unobskey to modify school hours. Unobskey is recommending delaying the start of the school day by 20 minutes at the high school and middle school and 15 minutes at the elementary schools for the 2018-2019 school year. Beginning at the start of the 2019-2020 school year, high school and middle school start times would be delayed an additional 10 minutes. Corresponding changes would be made to the end of the school day.
