Sudbury Valley Trustees (SVT) headquarters at Wolbach Farm is a perfect destination to take in the fall while you still can. Visitors can find Wolbach Farm at 18 Wolbach Farm Road in Sudbury. Their Storybook Trail, now featuring The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson, is a 3/4 mile wooded trail that combines reading with nature. In addition to taking in a popular children’s story, the entire family can learn about nature with interpretive markers and play in their unique tree fort. The trail itself is scenic but easy to complete. SVT’s Nature Nook, located in the side porch of the farmhouse, is an interactive space where kids can learn about nature and conservation in hands-on ways. It features animal skulls, nature games, and an array of animal noises. The property also features picnic tables and plenty of open grass, so all are welcome to linger in the crisp autumn air. The activities at SVT’s headquarters are open to the public from dawn to dusk, and are free of charge.
