Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable

Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization of men and women incorporated in 1999. The goal of the Roundtable is to raise awareness about the issue of domestic violence through community education and networking and to improve the coordination between public and private services for victims and families touched by domestic violence.

Memorial Day Schedule of Events

The Public Ceremonies Committee Announces
May 28, 2018

Wayland’s Memorial Day Parade will form at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 28, 2018, at the Wayland Middle School, 201 Main Street. The parade steps off at 11:00 a.m. and will proceed along Route 27 to Route 30 to the Lakeview Cemetery in Cochituate.

Brief Tributes to Veterans in each Cemetery

8:30 a.m. Ceremony at Veterans Memorial Town Building 8:50am. Ceremony at North Cemetery (Route 27 North)

9:00 am Ceremony at Biet Olam West (Route 27 North) 9:15am. Ceremony at South Cemetery (Route 27 South)

9:45 a.m. Ceremony at Lokerville Green \M/Vll Memorial (Route 30 East) 10:00 am Ceremony at ST Zepherins Cemetery (Bent Ave)

ln the event of rain, the service will be held n the Middle School Gymnasium at 11 :00 a.m. Outside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery at 11:30 am if no change is made to the schedule due to weather. For confirmation, please call Richard Turner at (508) 358-4294 after 9:00 a.m. on May 28,2019

NOTE: The Council on Aging Van will depart the Wayland Town Building rear parking lot, at the rear door of the Senior Center, at 8:00 a.m. for the early morning ceremonies and non-marching Veterans. Additional non-marching Veterans may board at the parade staging area at the Middle School.
