Some private roads may lose snow-clearing privileges

Wayland Town Crier 5/17/18: Some private roads may lose snow-clearing privileges. It might be hard to think about winter when it’s warm outside and the flowers are in bloom, but some homeowners can’t get New England’s bitter season out of their minds. Selectmen could vote Wednesday night to remove 11 private roads and two private driveways from the town’s snow plow list. If it happens, homeowners living in those areas are left to fend for themselves. That could mean grabbing a shovel or paying someone to do the job.
