Dr. Parry Graham selected as Assistant Superintendent

The following was sent to the Wayland Schools email list:

Dear Wayland Public School Parents, Guardians and Students:

I am very pleased to announce that the School Committee has approved my recommendation for Dr. Parry Graham to become the next Assistant Superintendent in the Wayland Public Schools and Dr. Graham, in turn, has accepted the position.

A Selection Advisory Committee, composed of staff, parents, and administrators, after a rigorous analysis of resumes and subsequent interviews, selected Parry as one of four finalists. The four finalists then met in Wayland with administrators, teachers, and parents. I also interviewed each of the four finalists at length.
Parry brings a wealth of experience as a teacher and as an administrator. He has served as a high school teacher and an administrator at the elementary, middle and high school levels, most recently as Principal at Nashoba Regional High School. He is passionate about collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and families. His references repeatedly described him as thoughtful, hard-working, and a wonderful colleague and supervisor.
I am very excited for you to meet and work with Parry.
Thank you to everyone for all of your contributions to this process.
Sincerely,
Arthur Unobskey
