The 6th annual Eric Chase Memorial Blood Drive at Wayland High School is on June 9th from 8 am to 3 pm. Blood mobiles from both Boston Children’s Hospital and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute will be at Wayland High all day. Eric was a 2008 graduate of Wayland High. Eric donated blood regularly until, at age 21, he was diagnosed with AML Leukemia. During his illness he needed many blood products. Team Eric organizes this annual Blood Drive to give back to the community. Each pint of blood donated helps up to 3 patients.
