Cameron Tredgett Foundation Golf Day, August 9

The Cameron Tredgett Foundation is pleased to announce the first USA Golf Day to be held on August 9th at Sandy Burr Country Club.

The format for the tournament is a 4-player Texas Scramble with a shotgun start at 1:00pm. Contests on the day will include Nearest the Pin, Nearest the Pin in Two, Straightest Drive, Longest Drive and a 50/50 raffle in addition to prizes for the top two teams. More information about the tournament, including online registration and sponsorships can be found on the Upcoming Events page at If you can’t play in the tournament or are not a golfer, please consider sponsoring a tee sign ($250) to advertise your business or the donation of an auction/raffle item for the tournament. We appreciate anything from gift cards to services or season tickets, etc.

Following the tournament, there will be a buffet barbecue for participants and guests. During the barbecue there will be an auction the top items to include a foursome at Boston Golf Club, and a limited edition Jack Nicklaus autographed framed print including flags from the 2005 Open Championship and 2005 Masters with authenticity documents. There will be a raffle showcasing amazing donations from Yvonne’s of Boston, The Bar Method in Wellesley and many more.

Our first golf event was held on Cameron’s 21st birthday, May 29, 2018 at his old course Channels Golf Club in Chelmsford England where we raised $4500.

The Cameron Tredgett Foundation is a non-profit charity dedicated to supporting young sporting students working to overcome personal and academic challenges. The foundation recognizes the amazing young men and women who are passionate about sports who don’t usually qualify for scholarships. Please help us to help them.
