Local Beaches Reopen After High Bacteria Levels, E. Coli Scare.

Wayland Town Crier 6/27/18: E. coli forces beaches in Framingham, Holliston, Wayland, to close. Beaches in Framingham, Holliston and Wayland are closed on the eve of a predicted heatwave after testing positive for E.coli bacteria. In Wayland, Julia Junghanns, director of public health, said she was surprised that samples from Wayland Town Beach and Dudley Pond were outside state limits so early in the beach season. She said both beaches tested at 320 CFU on Monday. New samples have been sent to the state to be checked.
