Vote coming in Wayland on whether to ban recreational marijuana

Wayland Town Crier 7/24/18: Vote coming in Wayland on whether to ban recreational marijuana. Residents will head to the polls in October to take the first step that could ban recreational marijuana establishments in town. The move comes after Wayland voted more than a year ago to legalize recreational pot statewide. Selectmen voted 5-0 Monday to hold a special election on Oct. 2. A ballot question will ask voters to ban all recreational pot establishments, including sales, cultivation, and manufacturing.
