Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers has teamed up with the United Way of Tri-County (UTWC) to sponsor the 3rd Annual 5K Run/Walk Fundraiser, October 13. The run will begin and end at Jack’s Abby Craft Lager’s brewery and beer hall located at 100 Clinton Street in Framingham.
The fee to participate is $30 (1 Beer Included in Registration Fee for Participants 21+. Photo ID will be required.) and all proceeds supporting several of the United Way’s critical services in the community including suicide prevention and mental health, early literacy, and hunger relief.
Long sleeve t-shirts will be given to the first 250 runners/walkers to register and goodie bags to the first 200 to sign up.
Prizes will be awarded after the race to the top male and female in eight age categories as well as the first and second place male and female runners overall. Special awards will be presented to top individual fundraiser and team fundraisers.
There will also be music, games, vendors, and a great raffle offered to participants and those who come out to support family and friends running and walking.
Jack’s Abby will offer post-race discounts on a several items from their appetizing Beer Hall menu to all runners and walkers, and encourages everyone to stop by for some delicious food and a pint after the race.
