  1. About 8600 people voted in 2016, so the 1700 that voted here tell us that few of us cared. Why would we even think our opinion on the subject was valid? We clearly know nothing about retail. That’s why we built a Town Center that killed the existing retail in Wayland, and now is dying a slow death. We can’t possibly think we are preventing people from buying pot – they’ll just drive to the six authorized pot stores that will be opened in Framingham. All this amounts to is a “Wayland Temperance League”, composed, I would bet, of people who no nothing about the subject and who feel they can dictate the morality of the town by deciding how we should live our lives. What will be the upshot of all this? Nothing. I doubt anyone else will even comment on this article.
