Spotlight on: Loker Grass Field Article
Special Town Meeting, Nov. 13th

Petitioners want to build a smaller, natural grass field at the Loker area, instead of the artificial turf field proposed by the Recreation Commission. Residents of the Willow Brook community, directly opposite the Loker site, to the south, and other residents of the surrounding area have been vocal in their concerns, about the scope of the original article, the environmental impact of the REC project to their homes and the surrounding wetlands, as well as player safety and traffic congestion.
